How to Reach Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand is very near to Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and has only two Airport, one in Jolly Grant Airport, located in Dehradun and other in Pantnagar.

Reaching Uttarakhand from any part of India and world is simple. If you are in some other state just grab a bus to Uttarakhand. If you are in Delhi then you have lot of option to go Uttarakhand. You can go by Train, Bus, Plane, your own vehicle etc.

There are 3 trains from Delhi which go to Uttarakhand daily and on Alternate days. Ranikhet Express train goes to Uttarakhand daily from Delhi to Haldwani which is one of the very important city of Uttarakhand. Uttaranchal sumperk Kranti is another train which goes to Haldwani from Delhi Daily at 4 PM. If you want to go Nainital you can catch these trains.
One new train which goes to Haldwani, Uttarakhand from Anand Vihar Delhi is AC Express which is a fully AC train and its departure time from Anand Vihar is 6 AM.

You can also go to Uttarakhand by Bus as there is a very good bus service form Delhi to Uttarakhand. You can get buses from ISBT kashmiri Gate and Anand vihar bus station.
