kilometres from Nanda Devi which is also a hill station in Uttarakhand. This glacier is situated at a varying altitude of about 5,500 metres to about 3,870 metres. It is spread across am area of about 37 km square and is about 16 km (10 mile) long in lenght. Milam Glacier is situated on the south slope of the Himalayan range situated in Uttarakhand. Its origin is from the eastern slope of Trishuli and the southern slope of its eastern subsidiary Kohli.
