Uttarakhand Government has done some very good changes in the presently existing policies. Cabinet has decided to set some new mobile teams, PDS system etc. For complete information kindly read the article below.
Mobile teams for tax collection in Uttarakhand
Uttarakhand cabinet has decided to set some new mobile teams in Uttarakhand whose main work will be to collect various commercial tax in the holly state. Government also decided to set one computerized PDS (Public Distribution System) in the state. In this article you will find complete information regarding this news. This decision was taken in the meeting of state cabinet in which Mr. Subhash Kumar was the Chief Secretary and he conveyed this news after the end of the meeting. He said that they are going to phase out all the 22 check posts present at the interstate borders in the state. According to him, these mobile teams will help Uttarakhand Government to make improvements in surveillance area. Some changes may be done in the staff very soon but currently the existing staff will be responsible for all the types of work. Out of total of 22 check posts, 6 are present on the railway stations in Uttarakhand.
PDS system in Uttarakhand
According to officials, they are going to build one very good PDS system in the state and the complete PDS system will be computer-able beginning from the fair price shops to ending bogus ration cards. This complete work will be done in two phases where the first phase will start from 31 January 2012 and the second will start from 30 April 2012.

According to officials, they have approved the
hike in pension for workers in Uttarakhand
. According to new pension plans, all the workers in the age range 18-60 years will get monthly pension of Rs 500.
